How can I get samples of Teese?

Because Teese is a food service product, we can only supply samples to qualifying businesses.

Does Teese require refrigeration?

Unopened, Teese is a shelf stable product, with no refrigeration required. Once opened, Teese should be refrigerated.

For our firm slice & shred cheeses (mozzarella & cheddar style), we recommend refrigerating before use for a firmer texture that’s easier to slice or shred.

Can Teese be frozen?

We don’t recommend freezing our firm cheeses (mozzarella & cheddar style), as freezing alters the texture and makes it difficult to slice or shred. The sauces (creamy cheddar & nacho) can be frozen with no noticeable change to the texture once melted.

Does Teese melt in a pizza oven?

You bet! Our mozzarella style Teese excels on pizzas.

Teese firm cheeses melt best at 450-500 °F and slice & shred best cold.

Can Teese be eaten straight out of the package?

Our vegan cheeses are best served melted according to instructions.

Who distributes Teese?

Teese is distributed directly from Chicago Vegan Foods. Please contact us to order direct.

If you're currently working with Sysco, US Foods, or Reinhart, you can also order Teese through our distribution partners.

Can I buy Teese for home use?

Teese is a food service only product, so options are limited. Our friends at VeganEssentials.com do sell our 3lb food service packages to the public.
